Just got a colony and plan on fraging soon.  Plan on 8-10 heads a frag.  When they are ready I will let people know.  I will try and get a pic up next week.

Try uploading your photos to a Photobucket account and linking to them that way. It looks like the forum posts are pointed to the photos on your local hard drive (for example...h:\safe\tank\100_0100.jpg)

I created this thread here http://greateriowareefsociety.org/C...fault.aspx
Like mentioned, set up a free photobucket account

    www.photobucket.com

You then upload the pics you want to photobucket, creating appropriate folders if needed.  When you upload them, you have the option to re-size if you haven't already done so, I typically size to 800x600 although some of my pics I up @ 1024x768.  You can choose files individually or use the buk uploader which is pretty slick.
Once the photo is uploaded and you click on it, you'll see this page:
You're looking for the code off to the lower left:
Email and IM - for sending a link via e-mail
Direct link for - inserting pic into post, i.e. GIRS
HTML Code - for web design or using the HTML option in GIRS post
IMG Code - for inserting image into other types of forums, i.e. Reef Central
    [IMG]
To insert into GIRS, select the picture icon
    [IMG]
Click "yes" to allow scripted prompts
    [IMG]
Then paste the copied code from "direct link" into the pop-up box
    [IMG]
There are other tricks but this should get you started!
    HTH!
    -Eric
(Maybe I could re-do this for a sticky in the photos section)

This tutorial should have its own thread and be stickied in the photo forum. Nice job.

You said red and white? Is that pic just bad or are they actually brown? Ihave some brown snakeskin acans that are actually pretty cool.

Fragging tonight and will have pics up tomorrow.

They should be red and white.  That pic was a day after I got it from Cali with fed ex and my alk was low.  FNvarner said that may be the color prob.

I'm looking for easy and cheap stuff for now until fall. I need to get better at Acans. Mine is angry and I moved it up some more so it's happy. Do you have any other corals?
