   The coolest tidbits here are that they isolated over 200k virus strains from only 145 samples from around the world, viruses kill between 20-40% of oceanic bacteria daily, and that frigid Arctic waters were actually a diversity hotspot.

   Wondering if one of the reasons that the Arctic waters are a hotspot is because they are one of the few areas that are left that has been least affected by human decimation.
