went looking 2 days ago and found nothing... its been too rainy here to look. one year i found 100 pounds in 2 hours!
what types of places do u look? i like grassy areas above creeks..

 

ok.. but i cover 36 acres of private land and we all have hot spots.. what types r urs?

 

thats one i havent heard before.... not near water?

my mom found about a pound last night around her pond, my cousin found 5 a week and a half ago. They are starting to rise in numbers but i'm not even going to look till this weekend

 

I was in What Cheer on my way to Ottumwa on Sunday and the lady at the Casey's had some behind that counter that someone had given her. That's not quite as far south as you are Bill, but it's closer.

 

wow you travelled all the way to ottumwa haha you weren't to far away from me.

 

That makes 15 lb how about a pic no one I know has found any so either you are a mushroom hunting extraordinaire or this is a fish story smothered in mushrooms. LOL

 

They are starting to pop in my area. I found 2 very fresh ones today in about a half hour of looking so I guss I a hunting this weekend!

 

Yea I'm sure there are some grays around to they usually pop first. I was mostly mess with you I just wanted to see your shrooms. I get shroom fever bad this time of yeay.

 

Found about 5 pounds in an hour, some that haven't even inflated all the way. People go to my sister's but, it is one of those no trespassing spots though.
and she's putting up more signs. They just pull off and take them. Last year she confiscated 15-20 pounds in one day from two guys who went out together.
