    I'll be there.
I purchased a refractometer in January, and am not sure that it has been calibrated accurately.  I've compared it with my swing arm hydrometer (which I calibrated based on instructions from the forum), and the refractometer is reading higher.  I know better than to put alot of faith in my swing arm hydrometer - which is why I would like to compare my refractometer with others.  If others could bring their refractometer and/or calibration solution to our meeting on Thursday, I would appreciate it.

I have never calibrated my refractometer, maybe I should. ;0) I think maybe you can calibrate with RO-DI but we would want to research that, I could be wrong. Theoretically ro/di would be 0.

I initially calibrated with my RO/DI water - then read the instructions again and they indicated to use distilled water.  So, I've tried that.  Not much different of a reading.  But its quite a bit lower than the swing arm (after I calibrated it).

Shaun I don't know why this keeps happening. Are you going to the GIRS Kickoff meeting or the swap?

Joel, i replied to you on RC about that. Now i can't find my usb cable to my camera to upload the photos to send to you. I will bring my camera with card in it, and we will
see what we can do with it. Are you opposed of myself bringing a couple of cold shasta's? If you are no big deal being it is a place of your employment.

Awesome Chris, 8 people thus far. I hope everyone is able to make it. If anyone has an old or new skimmer laying around bring it as a prop. My new DIY isn't far enough along to bring so I will just have an empty water bottle.
