This is my 120 in its current state of crappyness. It should be drained and moved to the garage by this time tomorrow. Rock and fish will be in 100 gallon stock tank in previous pictures.

I will be adding a separate coral QT system in the next few weeks. All corals will be going through a 30 day QT before entering my new display.
I ordered a 50 gallons low boy frag tank. And I will make my own sump from a 40b or something.

It's gonna be a simple system. Skimmer, heater, BRS 2 Part doser, ATO, and a t5 Retrofit light. All stuff from my equipment hoard lol.

  3. I still have that Fox Flame, not as pretty as it was in your tank but its growing well. Hit me up when you think your tank is ready!

180 is in place. I need to rearrange some furniture soon. Lol.
Thanks @Ray/Jen_Reefin@Ray/Jen_Reefin for help moving this beast.

Next will be some plumbing. Then acid wash some rock and aquascape.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer. I am really itching to get some acros growing.
I still need to build my light rack and floating canopy.
All lighting parts are here. 3 lumen max reflectors with xm 10k 250w halides. A 2 bulb LET t5 retro kit 80w. 2 80 watt blue plus t5 bulbs. And 2 blue reef brite strips. 3 galaxy select a watt halide ballasts.

Found a use for my old 120 stand. Going to use it for my coral QT system.

Stand weights more than the 180 stand by far!

Tank and stand are in place. Going to keep it simple. Just heater, skimmer, return, and 2 Part on BRS dosers.
If needed I will add an algae scrubber later.

The 180 is plumbed, leak tested and running. I should get rock and sand today.
I need to acid wash the rock. Make my aquascape and soak in rodi for a few weeks.
I also need to make my light rack and floating canopy. And screen lids to keep all the fishys in the tank.
Gonna drill qt tank and order glass baffles for sump today.

Did I miss it or did you mention what salt you were going to use for your acro tank?

Using up the rest of the biosea marine salt I have then before I put acros in I will do a large water change with Aqua Vitro Salinity. It's what I used before for several years with great results.
