Fall Fest Volunteers for the event!!

With Fall Fest right around the corner, we are going to need some volunteers available for:

- Setup (Friday night & Saturday morning)
- Registration/admission table
- Raffle ticket sales table
- Community Table
- Teardown

SETUP: ( 2-3 people each day, need to be able to lift and carry equipment)
Friday night - 6pm-10pm

Entrance Tables (Member Check-in, Admissions, Raffle Ticket Sales)

We will need the following for manning these 2 tables:

11:30 - 1:00 (2 People, preferably 3 - this will be the busy time slot!):

Community Table: (this was quite fun to oversee!)

Teardown: (1-2 people to help after the event)
This will be quite painless as there will be a staff member that will break down all of the tables and chairs as well as clean up. All we need to do is break down GIRS equipment and make sure all of the vendors get the help they need.

Additionally: If anyone has experience with a camera we are looking for a volunteer to take pictures during the event. You would need to bring your own camera. This would be a great thing to add to your portfolio.

I can help with anything but the setup. I'm flexible, so I'll leave it up to the event planners to put me where I'm needed most.

Fall Fest coming up in 12 days!!!!!! We need volunteers to help make it a success!! Please sign-up to take an hour and a half shift.

Also, are there any photographers in the group????? We would like someone to take a few pictures at the show and to take pictures of the winners of the raffle prizes.

Since I am unable to attend this year, I cannot help. Sorry. TNT Corals is donating to the raffle so we are still trying to help the Club and all members

 

If you need a photographer I can certainly help! You can also put me down for the early slot at the check-in table if you still need someone unless you'd rather have me do photos for the entire show. Up to you...

I can help set up, not sure what time I will be there though as I need to run to store and get my displays and food and bring down. I am thinking 9 at the latest, probably much earlier.

Will help with clean up as well.

@Kendall I got you down as working the community tank/table for the first 1 1/2 hours of the event. You had a table at spring fest next to me while I volunteered so I figured you would have the best grasp on how to work the table.

 

@GIRS Member this is a great way to meet our community of reefers who share the same passion as you do! Every time I try to explain something in reefer talk to my family they look at me as if I am crazy. This is a chance for you to talk to people who know your language!

 

I can help with anything. I could come for the set up on Friday too. I will do a community table shift on Saturday.

Just so you know @Pygmey is taking our speaker, Tullio out to dinner at 6pm on Friday. If you want to join them you are more than welcome! And then you can come help with setup if you like.

I was just reminded my son is in the high school play Sat night, so I wont be able to stay late and help clean up, sorry

 

I will be there selling shirts but also plan on floating where needed. Will also be there awhile before and after to help.
