   Ok so here i am ready to build my sump and i am having trouble finding just a 55 ga tank here in Clinton.
   Anyone have suggestions in the Quad City area where i can buy just a tank?  The only place i know is Aquatic Environments.  Last time i was in petco they only had 'kits'.

   You can try qcfishkeeprs.com, craigslist if you want used. No use buying new if you're going to use it as a sump.

   Roe Aquarium in Rock Island generally has tanks (new) at a good price, if you aren't able to find used. Petco and Petsmart, at least in the Quad Cities, both seem to be really high with tanks (if they even have just tanks in stock).
