My Puffer and Lion are outgrowing their 55 and its time to upgrade. I knew this day was coming soon. Does anyone know of a good deal in the State? I am lloking for 180 gallons or larger. I guess I might consider 150, but I want this tank to last their lifetime.

I know a guy with a 210 and a 180 that he may be willing to sell.  I'll ask him when he is in on Monday.  PM me if I forget...

There is a 180 and a 210 available.  There is also a few hundred pounds of live rock.   He has a 75 that will be available later as well.  He is getting his house ready to sell.  All the tanks are plumbed together right now but would like to get them moved out.

I do not have a price from him for them yet.  the 180 is a year old from Hung.   Let me know if you are interested and the price you are willing to pay and I'll pass it on to him.

If you still need a 180, Adams Aquatics in DSM has a used acrylic 180. I think it has 2 overflows and is about 3"x 3"x 5" . They are going to clean and polish it and ask around $600. It is an awsome tank and is in great shape, just covered top to bottom in coriline. If you call or stop in tell them that Dave from the fair sent you in (work 4 Adams @ the IA st Fair). Good luck!!!

    Joel,

Just a little suggestion. If you offer anything for this tank, Adam got it for free. He had to haul it out of the guys basement, and the whole front looked like the back of a tank covered in coraline when I last saw it. Not sure how an acrylic tank like this will clean up without scratching.

Thank Bill! I will go look tomorrow.

Thanks Jerry, I will definitely keep that in mind. Now that I have a couple 200+ in my sights it may be hard to drop down to 180.

Hey, its the American way! And Yes, his Store is very expensive to run.

I went and looked tonight. He actually said, "there it is but you don't want it. I don't know if that coraline will ever come off."

I think I will pass on that one.
