Is anyone familiar with working with Acrylic that may be willing to help us out in Des Moines? I have been asked by a few members about putting on a meeting about working with acrylic but haven't done so myself.
This would be a drive to Des Moines for a January Des Moines area meeting.

I could help you if you make it late in the month on a Sunday.

You may also want to do some internet research on the subject.
When I first started working on building my own sump and had never worked with it before, found enough on the internet to guide me through it.
Even found a couple of video's on working with acrylic.

Ya I could read up on it. I am not really concerned with figuring it out myself, but I don't feel right giving a presentation on it if I haven't really done it. I may build a Beckett box for my new skimmer and then I would have done it, we will see.

Craig, thanks - I will discuss that around these parts and see what comes up. Maybe I could use the Beckett Box as the project for the meeting. But I dodn't think I will wait that long. :0)
