Help!! Where to refill 10lb Co2 Tank?

    Any place in Des Moines area of refilling 10lb Co2 Tank? I prefer refill not exchange since I have a nice 10lb Co2 Tank of my own.

    Same day pick up is nice, but not limited to.

    I use Airgas in Cedar Rapids. I think they have a location in Des Moines.

    Welding supply places will do exchanges I know, not sure about refills. I would call them and ask. I'm guessing there would be several options around Des Moines for welding supplies. I know there is in CR.

    Fessler Carbonic Gas Co. in Des Moines, on East Ovid Ave. When I ran a calc reactor with a 5# aluminum tank, I would take there to refill. Was reasonably priced, and they did it within minutes of me stopping by.

    I checked Fessler Carbonic and the guy is not always there it has to drop off and pick up the next day. I found another location in Des Moines area that you can get it refill and pick up on the spot.

    Isn't co2 the same thing they use in paintball guns? I get mine filed at schelds

    Archery Field and Sports, between Pleasant Hill and Altoona. That's where I would always fill up my paintball tanks. They'll do it immediately for you as long as your tank has up-to-date hydro testing stamps.

    Yea id figure they could fill up a 10# tank. Idk worth a call

    Linweld is where i go its just off of 14th st by the lumberyard on 54TH ave...and u can ask them for a tank that looks similar i do it often

    I've had a lot of small tanks filled at ICU paintball, nice people there....or check Praxair, another welding supply.

    I always exchange at Praxair on 2nd. Not sure if they refill though. I might have to check out that Getzfire place as I would prefer to refill.
