What's your salinity (specific gravity)?

curious where everyone is running their tanks...

 

Might run high at times. Used to run it at 1.027

 

Depends on the day mine usually stays around 1.025 to 1.026

I try to keep it at 25 as best I can. Really should invest in an ATO

 

I will also say not to trust a hydrometer. I used one for awhile not thinking much of it. Then I was keeping my tank at 1.024 well so I thought it was. I had bought a Milwaukee digital refractometer and made sure it was calibrated correctly. When I first tested my water with it, my salinity was at 1.031.

 

1.026......for the most part

 

I try for 1.025 but sometimes it falls a bit short.

Im usually between 1.025 and 1.026. Had an ATO accident recently and raised the tank up to about 1.029 but had no casualties thankfully.

Wow I must be in trouble mine is sitting at around 1.020 - 1.022.

 

1.020-1.022 @Borky00 is ok for a fish only or fish only with live rock. But if you keep corals they would be happier if you bump up the salinity just a alittle bit.
