Whats your favorite bulb and why?

Don't know about SE's but for DE's Phoenix 14K's have great color...

I use whatever JJ has for sale, they are usually only used for a few months and are cheap.

SE 400 watt 20k XM's, good PAR and good price, they have worked well for me, i doubt I'll ever try anything else.

 

I am a firm believer in Hamilton Tech great color and reliable.

 

I am currently running Radium 20k's and I like them.....not a lot of difference from the XM 20k's

xm 20k, good looking bulb.

 

My mom had Ushios on her first tank, i dont think there is much of a difference between them and the XM's either, of course that was years ago and i could be wrong, but from what i remember there wasnt much of a difference.  Could have been because i was using those generic m59 ballasts too i guess.

Ive been debating between running with the 20k xm's or switching to a 20k ushio

 

I like both the XM 20k and the 10k

 

I'm using 400W Helios 20K bulbs, and I love them. I don't use actinics, and the color is exactly what I wanted. It really makes blues, greens, and oranges pop. They have really good PAR too - I think it's close to the XM20K, or maybe a little higher.
