It is like a snail but has no shell and at first I only seen one but now I see a lot. They are fuzzy and gray. Sorry for lack of description and no picture.

Stomatella? If so, it's a welcome grazer. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Stomatella&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1213&bih=1064

If you buy anything from the top middle 2 tanks at the Petco at Jordan Creek mall you are virtually guaranteed to come home with at least 2 of these guys.

Back in march, i went on vacation, a friend of mine watched the tank. When i got back my friend was telling me that he saw "puffs of smoke" coming from one of the rock crevices. I couldn't fathom what this could have been. So he even stops by my house to show me where it was in the tank. He points to a spot and i see nothing, but coraline algae and a deep crevice. So, i keep my eyes peeled in this area. The whole time i am thinking that there must be something digging into the rock and 'rock dust' being thrown into the water column. Not a few days go by and i am watching the tank; and all of a sudden I see it.... the "puffs of smoke" coming from another rock, on the other side of the tank. SO, i am taking a closer look and i see a large stomatella shooting eggs/sperm into the water. And upon closer inspection another stomatella starts doing the same thing about 3/4 inch away. Each stomatella probably let 4 to 6 shots of egg/sperm into the water and immediately return into the depths of the rockwork. It is pretty kewl. I have seen it a few times since then too, but never got video or pictures of it. I can't tell you what time of day it was, but i do know that the lights were on full when it occurred.
