    They look like Tic Tac's with a little tuft of hair at the top. They are suddenly popping up all over the place. Similar in shape to the pods in the movie Alien. Don't want any face-huggers in the tank.

    Thanks. They are definitely coming on recently. I saw one a couple weeks ago, and now there are at least a dozen. I never knew sponges could grow and reproduce so quickly. There are even a few on the glass.
