Pretty jacked up about this new controller, been waiting quite awhile for this.

 

I just watched BRS' video on this thing... For their asking price, that is a STEAL and then some!

 

I think even the retail price is cheap. IMO I think its going to blow Neptune's new Apex out of the water. I was really expecting Neptune to come out with something like this, but they dropped the ball. When I saw their new design I wasn't impressed at all.

Well. So far I'd say it looks a lot better than an Apex to me. I don't really need a controller though but I'm tempted just because of that intro price.

 

Well I am going to be a guinne pig and try it out. I hate coding apex

agree, they could of done so much more. When you have a monopoly, you get lazy

 

They sure did drop the ball. I have too much invested in my apex to basically give it away to buy something else.
I may see how much just the head unit and 1 new energy bar costs and just upgrade that part.

 

I also jumped on the bandwagon and preordered one. I was just too good to pass up.

 

Thats kind of part of the deal ill never get $960 back out of my Gold Package Apex and extra EB8. Which is part of the reason I was bitter about what Neptune released. I was hoping for a touch screen that could link up to the now "classic" Apex and easier programming. I didn't mind coding just took quite awhile, thought for the price it should be a lot less painless.

 

I am really hoping we can get timing down to seconds instead of just minutes

 

Looks like it will be just that simple from BRS's video. I always thought it was absurd that you had to get on a computer to program the Apex. I mean you could use the controller, it would just take an hour to set an outlet with how slow it was lol.

 

No I meant you can have something come on at 12:15:30PM instead of just the nearest minute.
