   yeah thats old news really, he talked of this in a few different discussions, instant ocean salt is already loaded with bromide.
   he said that a 70ppm boost in calcium will raise bromide levels 2 percent in your tank.
   
   theres no conclusive evidence what bromide does to your tank, but rest assured theres already lots of it in your tank.
