Unknown pest or cleanup worm?

    20180620_230714.jpg 20180620_231125.jpg 20180620_231125.jpg Is this friend or foe? It didnt put it in here, so I am a bit apprehensive. Fortunately it is in my qt. But I got a nice set of tisbies and pods . So I don't want to nuke it unless I need too .

    Looks like a nematode to me. I have some in my tank and they seem pretty harmless. Everything I've read also puts a harmless spin on them!

    Hmm. A bit tough to tell with the pics - are you able to take any shots with a flash or a light focused on them?

    Oh! Eunicid worm! Those aren't good to have around.

    Any updates? Have you been able to remove the worm(s) from your tank?

    not yet. It is in my qt. my plan is to remove the sand base, remove and freshwater dip the few rock and corals for 10 mins. Scrub down frag rack, change 30% water, and change filters. Then restock in Qt without sand base and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
