Now that the 'big move' back to Grove & Platt is all but complete, I had a 120g tank full of nice clean saltwater, and a little sand. I had to pull half a bucket/bag of sand out of Grove & Platt due to 'restructuring' by the Engineer Goby, so I did a quick gravel vac of the sand in the this tank to get rid of the sediment that was under the rocks (not much, by the way) and then sprinkled the half-bucket of sand from G&P on it (after a quick rinse). I love that Special Grade Reef Sand BTW.

Then last night I moved everything from this 37g tank (contents of which I am also babysitting):

Which was right next to the 120...so now it looks like this:

    And the 120 like this!

Frag Rack (lots of Digi Frags)

    Yellow Polyps

Plans are to add an algae scrubber to out-compete the bubble algae, among other algaes that built up in this system. I was originally supposed to house this system for about 4-6 weeks. That was April. 8 months in a cramped space with no filtration and no water changes? Perfect for algae and aptasia. Yes I feel guilty for totally neglecting the 37g, but everything came through shining except for a RBTA that was never really looking that good in the first place. Even some cool Zoas popped out big time, found those in the move. It's amazing how marine fish can live in water that would kill anything you put in it, as long as they have been in it for a long time. I mean this tank water started out at N=20 or so, and I'm willing to bet it was well over 200 before I moved everything last night. But the change was slow and they adapted. Having that big softie probably didn't hurt.
