This is "The Muraka" at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. Each private villa is elevated atop Maldive's beautiful coral reefs. The surface level has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a reef view, an infinity pool, and sprawling lounge decks to enjoy the tropical sunsets.

But as impressive as the topside is, it's what's below that is really the pièce de résistance.



Descending down a spiral staircase or elevator below sea level, guests walk into an bedroom and bathroom that is literally surrounded by coral reefs. With rates starting at $50,000 per night, you are flown to your villa on a private seaplane and then picked up on your own personal speedboat that is at your disposal for the duration of your stay. Four dedicated butlers provide 24/7 (assuming you can afford 7 nights) service. Conrad Maldives is also considerate enough to provide Muraka guests their own personal chef and fitness trainer ... because one should never skip leg day.
