So now that these guys are going on a week in my possession I figure it is time to share them.  I picked these up from Divers Den and they were advertised eating frozen mysis and brine shrimp.  Sense I have had them they have eaten mysis, brine shrimp, DIY food mix, Sera Marin granules(stuff from Des Moines x-mas party), and gel food.  I am really impressed with these and hands down to the guys at Live Aquaria!

Those are very unique. Since you bought them as a pair is there any chance of spawning in captivity?

I believe its been done but I dont think many people had success. The hardest part of keeping them in general is getting them on a prepared food source. Their natural diet is corals more specifically acros.

Acros beware! Gered, do you have those in a qt tank until you can be sure they won't eat your corals or do you have them in your display?

They are sectioned off right now. I am not to worried about them eating coral as I only have 2 pieces of SPS in my tank. I have heard though if you get them switched to frozen/prepared foods and kept them well fed you don't have to worry as much with them. I believe ReefBuilders had a video of a pair in a big SPS tank.

I would offer them some NLS and see if they try it.

Now I know why you're selling off stuff.  Better buy lots of corals at SF - those guys look hungry!  LOL  Great looking fish.

You refering to New Life Spectrum?   All I know is they have eaten everything I have thrown in there.  I am going to get some Rod's fish eggs and Cyclopeeze tomorrow from AC&C sense they are a small food as these guys do not have large mouths.
And to Stew. Just selling stuff I don't need and to make room.  Going to hold off on any huge coral purchases until I get the new tank up and going.  I need to focus on that...easier said then done[IMG]
