Tank apparently sprung a leak and is slowly draining.  Need to rehome:
    - 6" foxface
    - 7" sailfin tang
    - 6" blue hippo tank
    - 2 clowns
    - 3 pajama cardinals
    - lawnmower blenny
    - majestic angel
No reasonable offer refused......need to save the fish.
Also, lots of coral as well - sps/LPS.  Please help!  I won'te be online so call my cell - 515.681.5544.  We are 25 miles south of Mills exit off of I-35.
    thanks,
    Dave

All - thanks for the good wishes.  Several Des Moines folks came through BIG time in helping get most of our large colonies a new home as well as a temporary home for some of the corals and all of the fish.  We would like to personally thank:

    - Mark (morayeelhead) - he not only came to help but brought along a 70g tank to temporarily house fish, some liverock & some corals as well as heater & a huge helping hand
    - Jason (mxcrx) - was a huge help and my wife swears he is a "fish whisperer" in how he caught most of the fish using a tupperware container
    - Matt (shepp125) - first on the scene and a big help in housing some of the coral colonies
    - Kevin Krefting - my good friend who is housing a number of our favorite corals for us

I would also like to thank all the folks that called and offered to help or wish us luck (Jeanette, Pete and others).   Fortunately, we had just set up a 28g nano cube for my wife's scolys and plates and we were able to load that up with the clams & most of the LPS.  We also put 2 clowns and the lawnmower blenny in there (although we are rethinking the blenny and may move him out).

At the momemt we are in the mulling it over stage on next steps.  For sure we can't keep our large fish in a 70 for any length of time so we will likely be selling them.  We are planning to move soon so I am reluctant to seal & reset up the tank (another piece of "good" news is the tank does not appear to be cracked but devleoped a leak in a bottom seal).  Deanna is lobbying to figure out a way to keep them so that is the dilemma - whether to sell everything that is not in the 29 and wait to set up the 210 after the move.  At any rate - stay posted as we will make a decision in the next 24 hours so we may have some nice fish and large colonies  and live rock for sale very soon.

Here is a relatively recent picture of what it looked like prior to today.  You can see a number of the fish & coral that may be for sale soon:[IMG]

So sad to hear about the tank. The tank photo is absolutely stunning. Glad to hear you were able to get the help you needed to save the contents!

I had a leak on my bottom seal on the side of my tank. I had a piece of glass cut lengthwise to fit the bottom of the tank, about three inches wide. I siliconed the glass strip to the bottom and the side of the tank, completely covering the old seal and completely sealing the tank. If you want to go this route I can give you some advice. It was surprisingly easy.

That is a very cool tank , nice and healthy looking . Very sorry to hear about the leak. I had it had once years ago with a 29 . No where near complex or pretty as yours. Hope you get it all back and running like this again .

The glass gusset is what PotRoast is talking about I believe, the Miracles tank at Grove & Platt had those installed around the bottom and on the edges of the notched & tempered end panel. I think the think would survive an earthquake.

Dave bad new man but if it helps at all, I've got my 120 in my study set up with some LR, but I have plenty of room to cram more in there, just have to re-arrange. I can also take large fish immediately. I also have a 40B I can set up below the tank and light it for more corals and LR. Plus you know where I live I think, right off the Mills Civic interchage

Mark/Bud, thanks for the offer to "home" some fish...we may definitely take you up on that. We have a home for the foxface now and need to figure out the others.

All - thanks for the support.....and Bobfish hit the nail on the head - bad situation....great club members.
