So this hurts me to say but I think it will be a good lesson for others.  On Friday night I bought a yellow carpet anemone (or similar species) for one of the work tanks.  I decided to put the anemone in my zero edge clam tank so I didn't loose him over the weekend.  It somehow lost its footing and went over the edge of the zero edge and into the sump.  My sump is a 300 gallon stock tank so I have a tunze pump in there for water movement.  It got sucked into the tunze and shredded.  This of course released all of the toxins that they have and killed all but three of my fish within a matter of minutes.  I have about 400 gallons of water since the sump is not all the way full.  I had a wrasse collection that included some of the rarest wrasses you can get.  One of my wrasses was only one of 2 in the country.  I haven't been able to post this until today as I am very upset about it all.  The three fish that survived are a clown, my 8" undulated trigger, and a melanarus wrasse.  I know why the clown survived since they are not affected by the anemone's chemicals.  The other two survived because they are pretty large.  All of my corals were completely unaffected.  All in all, I lost almost $2000 in fish.
    Lessons:
Always have filter socks on all return lines to the sump.Always have at least 100 gallons of RO ready to go(I only had 30 gallons in my reservoir)Always have plenty of carbon on hand (I had to buy some more as I was out)Never buy anemones!

Joe, so sorry to hear that man. I decided the last time I tried adding an anemone and it ended up getting blended it was the last thing I stuck in my tank that I couldn't epoxy down.

Don't let it get you down too much, **** happens, hopefully you and others reading this post will learn something from your mistake.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I am not going to give up and I am not going to switch to freshwater like Gered.

Some of the wrasses that I had are as follows.

    Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis)
Katherine's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus katherine) This was only 1 of two fish in the country
Trio of Flame Wrasses (Cirrhilabrus jordani)
There were a few others but these were my favorites.

I am really hoping that some others will defintely learn from my mistake. I know that I did for sure. And no matter who you are, you have to be prepared at all times for the worst circumstances like having to do large water changes.

I just hope the change in bio load does not affect any of my corals. I guess I will have to feed them much more often to make up for the lack in fish.

    Nik,
I will check them out.  However the Katherine's usually gets mixed up with the Girdled(Ch. Baltatus) which is much more common.  I bought mine directly from Kevin Kohen.  Here is a picture of my fish that he sent me when I bought it from him.
