    so im really new to salt water but got my tanks up and going good.  i want to get a blue tang.  i have a sailfin tang in the tank and he is happy as can be.  any addvice before i go spend a good amount of money?

    Still pretty new to this myself but from my understand a tank that size should only house one type of tang due to them being quite territorial. Hope someone else chimes in with more experience for ya.

    Sailfin and blue tang should be okay together. I'd be careful with crossing similar shapes though, so avoid a purple tang or a yellow tang with your sailfin and avoid a powder blue with a blue tang. That's always been the guideline I've heard and followed and it has worked out for me so far. I haven't had a problem with a blue tang and a yellow tang in a 125g. But who knows... there are a lot of varying experiences in this hobby!

    any certain foods u recomend? i have clips. should i put stuff in them? what goes in these clips.

    Nori/Seaweed goes in the clips, the powder blue I had rarely touched it though, of all the stuff I fed, it loved Formula II Flake the best. Try to offer some balance between meat and veggie. Good luck.
