Ok, my hippo tang has been acting wierd. He swims over to a filter I have in the tank and will allow himself to what I assume is be sucked by the filter. He'll stay there for 20 or so seconds and then swim around some more. I've also watched him do something simlar to the intake section of the pump I have in there.
Is there any reason why he would be doing this? Pics to follow.

Maybe he is just a masochist?

As long as it can get off of the filter, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Hippo's like to do weird stuff like that. Mine jams itself between the rocks all the time.

The hippos are known to be the "king of Ich".

I would watch it very carefully & be ready to take action. Look for some small white spots.

Hope he is just a wierd fish instead.
