While building my new canopy this afternoon I managed to break an end cap. I'm using the German 3-piece end caps and busted the plastic piece in the end cap that sits in between the bulb pins and separates the metal contacts on either side. I managed to super glue the piece back place. I'm concerned about the super glue holding up in the end cap. Is the end cap going to get too hot? I'm going to be overdriving four T5 bulbs with an IceCap 660 so I assume it will get pretty hot. Anyone know more about this stuff than me?

If it in any way effects the lamp pins and the connections in the end cap, don't risk it.
