sure wish this ro unit i bought 2 mnths ago would work already

    well i have a 5 stage ro unit i have yet to even use that i have had for 2 mnths..it seems too go threw the membrane antd then all goes to waste if i leave it on all day i would get maybe a half cup of water out of the clean line.....any ideas please thanks[​IMG]

    That is strange,

    Those things can be tricky to plumb if they didnt come that way.

    What is your water pressure?

    We had to get a booster pump on ours. It did help to put a valve on the waste line & restrict it just a bit (they dont recomend it though)

    Water pressure is probably the culprit I would say. Are you on a well or anything?

    no well ... have it hooked up from the washer connection but maybe i can hook it up else where and see if that helps not sure what the pressure

    Unless certain taps in your house are pressurized with a booster pump I doubt changing where it is connected will make much of a difference. I would get a pressure gauge made specially for these types of lines. Should be under $10. They might even have them at the local Lowe's or Home Depot.

    Something like that fit into a T fitting. Looks like it might be a little more than $10 but not by much.

    What is a normal pressure on a 5 stage? Mine runs usually about 47-50lbs

    i think pres was the problum now i moved it and cant get to to not leak where it is connected to the pipe...how must i fix this problum....thanks all
