Has anyone ever seen white string stuff coming out of their LPS?

My suggestion is ship it to me for inspection...might need a couple year quarantine in my tank too /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif On a serious note never have seen anything like it. Do they appear to be alive like a worm or something?

    LOL,

Ya well my luck I probably have some LPS eating flatworm, AEFW combo that will eat all LPS available.

They dont appear to move on their own, but they do with the current.

If it doesn't affect the health of the coral and it's truly rare, you just multiplied the value by a couple hundred I could imagine!

I had the same thing happen to my green sea mats (not sure if that's what they are really called) shortly after getting them. The guy I got them from said they were just getting ready to reproduce and that is what happened. Coincidence or not, I don't really know.
