Spring Fest Raffle?

I was just informed that my wife, VP of the YMCA board, is in charge of a 'benefit' of some sort Saturday of Spring Fest.  Now, 'apparently' I'm not able to stay for the whole show since it is 'highly encouraged' that the family be at the benefit.  So, my question is, do folks need to be present to win the raffles.  Some places yes, and some places are no - so wanting to double check.  I'll be there from 12-3.  Thanks!
