So Ive been noticing a rather large outbreak of tiny little snails in my tank.  You can only see them at night.  I would describe them as round and rather flat.  Not cone like as a turbo.  They have a brown and kind of white patern on the shell.  Anybody know what Im talking about here?  I know its pretty vague.  Maybe I can grab one and have a pic taken during our tour comming up.  4

If you are only seeing them at night and have a brownish shell my first thought would be a stomatella (which are good for a tank).

A pic would help quite a bit if you could get one.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up the stomatella. Not it. But that got me on the right track to find out that they are Collonista or mini turb snails.
