small lighting

    Ok i have a fuge up and running on my tank now and its a HOB design and i need to figure out lighting options that arent going to keep everyone in the house up. I have to light it from the sides or top the baxk is 1/2" from the wall. I researched bulding a small dyi led kit with a computer heatsink but figured i would poll the masses and see if anybody had something laying around i could pick up!

    I use a $10.00 clip on light with a 16k bulb.

    I cant go that big of a light it will run opposite of us being awske and will keep my wife up as it will illuminate the whole room as we are running without a canopy

    The bulb is only 2-3 inches across and you can put a small card box over it and you fuge. It is a compact fluorescent so it does not get hot. PeteH did a good job of it. Maybe you can ask him for pics.
