Considering adding a skimmer to my frag tank. No sump, so needs to be HOB or in-tank skimmer. Recommendations???? Been looking at the Hydor slim-skim nano skimmer. Anybody have any experience with it??? Besides the obvious of being a good skimer, I want it to be super quiet.

    Thanks!

iv experienced with the following on my old a 55 gallon and a 29 cube
hydor slim- okay it seems to skim more water than waste.
Tunze 9001- excellent skimmer best in tank nano skimmer by far.
biocube skimmer-junk looks cool that is pretty much it.
aquamaxx hob-1 hang on back skimmer is the best one if you go the hang on route.
super reef octipus spacesaver 2000sss-excellent skimmer but to big for your situation.

I would go with the aquamaxx personally because it is really quiet and pulls out dirty skim mate but thats my opinion.
