Skimmer air line

    Like talked about on the tank tour I am going to run my skimmer line outside to intake fresh air. Is there any certain line I should be using? I believe the tubing is 3/8" or 1/2" ID silicone tubing right now. Should I look for the exact same stuff? Where could I buy it? What are people doing on the outside, just leaving an open hose hanging there, or adding some kind of filter to it?
