I just spent the last 3 hours cleaning out my propagation system.  Basically it was infested with aiptasia, cyano algae ,and green hair algae.  It was getting so bad i had aiptasia 2"+ around, these things were huge!!!  I removed all the frags from the tub, then took the tub to the car wash and power washed and scrubbed it down.  I then replaced the old nasty egg crate with some new stuff, put the frags back in and whaa laa, it looks GREAT!  There are still a few aiptasia attached to some of the frags but there are 7 pepperment shrimp in there that will take care of them in no time....hopefully.  I really wish i would have taken some before and after shots becuase it went from looking like total crap to shiny and new.  I sure am glad these tank tours are only once a year but to me they act as a motivator to get some work done on the system.
