Can this happen? I went down and checked my tank to find this. I have an orange spotted goby and he was swimming fine and was eating when I fed them today. I went down 2 hours later and this is what I found. Is this common? Do I need to be worried about my other fish?
    Comment and suggestions appreciated!

I've lost several gobies and anthias in my 220 when it was set up...but that's just my experience with the stars.

Serpent stars are scavengers they very rarely kill healthy fish. my guess is your gobie was either sick or already dead before the star to get it

That is kind of what I thought it just seemed so quick to go from a fairly normal looking fish swimming and eating to food himself.
