Hi there, my name is Ian and I am looking to sell an aquarium kit that I recently tried setting up. Basically the story around the tank and components is that I am a full time college student and ran out of necessary loans/ financing to complete the tank. I am looking to sell locally, but if longer distance shipping is required it will alter the final bidding price of the setup.

My interest in the 38 gallon was due to size constraints of my current residence. it is made out of pure acrylic to prevent any cracks or blowouts that seem to be common amoung many glass type aquarums. The tank itself has not been used since the purchase and is still in its protective blue wrapping to prevents scratches and blemishes to the surface of the material. The thickness of the material is acceptible for either a drilled sump use or basic hang-on back filtration/ canister filters.

I will in the spaces below detail what is apart of this kit and some finer details that come with each product intended for use with this system (note that the system is only for sale as a whole and not for individual pieces)

38 Gallon Acrylic Aquarium made by www.glasscages.com in august/september 2011. tank is ready to drill for sump application and still has original blue protective wrapping on it to prevent damage.

Aqueon proflex sump model 1 made for aquariums of to 55 gallons. (does not have circulation or feed pump)

Coralife superskimmer 65g which is an in-sump option

Aqua Euro USA Chiller made for up to a 60 gallon tank. with heater control on the side of the unit (do not exceed 200gph)

2 stage corallife RO water filtration system for prefiltering you water for salt mixing or top-off use.

2x poly reactor used for GFO or other fluidized bed filtration purposes. (powerheads for those included with tubing and shut-off valves)

I have 10'' of PVC which was intended to be used for plumbing the system in, as well as elbows, quick pvc disconnects, and cements, ball valve -locline

red sea wavemaker pro with 8 different wave modes, a feeding mode and 2 different night modes. (i also have the hydor korillia 400 powerheads i used in a previous setup to go with the wavemaker--- hydors used because of low heat transfer, easy to clean and virtually silent)

2x 20lb petco black reef sand

a partial box of coralife reef salt (150gal tub, i will try to find out exactly how much i have left in the coming days)

I have a container of multiple necessary chemicals such as trace elements, prime, PH balancers, redsea and API liquid test kits, hydrometers and more

I will throw in free stuff if i find more as i prepare these for shipping

In conclusion for all this i would like in the $600-700.00 range for everything NOT includng shipping and handling (if required) Please keep in mind i do work in the retail environment and have already taken the liberty to price both new/used item similar to/ or the same produects as the ones i have listed to be sold. Drastic cuts in prices or price haggling/ price sharking will not be accepted. I work for a pet retailer in central Iowa and believe for the items included that they are priced pretty fairly.

If you would like to contact me about what else is included or have questions or comments about "whats in the box" feel free to either message me through Greater Iowa Reef Society's messenging serviice or through my person Email account which i will leave at the bottom.

Again thank-you for you time in reading this and tank you to the GIRS website for allowing me to post here.
