Here's a quick video I took of the marine pool at Seascapes the other day. Pretty friendly fish, lots of kids watching the rays, Filefish was begging, several others right up to the surface. Tim said it'll look really cool when they have "about 50 more fish" in it

My daughter used to love watching the sharks in there. What ever happened to them? Did they die or find new homes?

I thought I heard that the sharks went to the Mall of America aquarium. I asked them right after they emptied it and the said "they're not here anymore"...so I really don't know I guess! Tim or Scott?

Not passing any judgment whatsoever if they were to have died versus finding new homes. Like I said just curious since we always stopped by to see them. Didn't one of them disappear long before the other? I just kind of assumed they had both died...

About the only way I could convince my daughter to come into the store with me was the promise of seeing the ARL pets and the sharks. Now one of the two is gone and she complains to me about it. We didn't notice any rays in there the last time we looked. Since she loves stingrays, maybe that will appease her...

I didn't see them the last time I looked either, I think they're relatively new. Tim said a couple of the fish were in hiding for weeks too, now the filefish is right up and the surface along with many others (like the ones in the beginning of the video). Same here, my boy wants to see the puppies and kittys and could care less about the fish, but he's warming up. He likes the overflow tank.

A local PETA member that was banned from the store got in and put a medication which I will not mention in the tank that killed the shark.

What sharks did they have in there? I am drawing a blank. Weren't there two black tips and then ____________? Like I said, it seems like there was only one shark in there at the end but maybe I am just not very obesrvant.

I will have to stop by and check out the bat ray. Don't those get huge? It seems like I have been somewhere where they have those and they are awesome. It is either (or could be both) Monterey Aquarium or the ray lagoon at Brookfieild Zoo in Chicago.

There were 2 sharks in there for a very long time, one that stayed at the bottom and swam around every so often, then another that was constantly swimming. I wasn't aware that there was ever a third in that tank, there was a shark in the acrylic tank that had the ray in it before they moved everything. So I guess I don't know which shark died / got killed. Who was the PETA person let's expose them.

The video of the bat ray is in my original post by the way

Yeah I never understood that let's save the animals by killing them
Peta once pocketed Ae dairy because milking cows is cruel acording to them the funny thing is that when they were done picketing they went across the street to dairy zone and at ice cream
