I've been just buying water from various places (walmart, hyvee) and I can't get rid of my hair algae. I am in need of a supplier. Only need about 5 gallons a week, if that. I know your going to say just go get a r.o. unit but I have no place to put it, and even if i did, the landlord (brother) wont allow it lol.

You can come get it here anytime. Just bring your own container.

Have you checked the readings on the places you are buying it from? Maybe it's not the water source?

I did a water change yesterday, and I can see a difference in the hair algae. Looks a lot more green and full.

I've heard of people getting bad batches of salt. That could be the issue.

Have you tested your water lately for N and P?

Always reads 0... But with the abundance of hair algae its most likely just being absorbed quickly
