I think iit got a little derailed for a moment with booster pump being a fix right off the bat when the problem lies elsewhere. Yes a booster pump will make ur unit run better/longer but right now his unit doesn't work correctly period. So a booster pump would really benefit right now. And I would suggest a different water source for pressure before a booster pump. Also a bucket of water and a heater set tp 70ish with coils of the input line will help out with the efficiency. But a booster pump might be the last and final result after he gets it working proper and then pressure become the new problem

 

Exactly Kyle. I would add though that I use a 5 micron carbon block, then a graduated 1 micron filter, then ro membrane, then di. The important thing here is that you filter corase materials with the 5um, then finer particles with a graduated 1um, then finally the ro filter basically filters out almost everything but water vapor, and the DI catches the rest.

 

Thanks again for the help. I went ahead and ordered a flow restrictor from BRS. Hopefully that will help with water production. Then, down the road (when I have a few $ saved up) I will probably look for a booster pump and such.

I will keep you all posted on if the new restrictor works once it is installed.
