hey, i've got some green frilly mushrooms that i want to get rid of but i'd like to keep the rock they are on. i remember the last time i tried to pull these things off of a rock and they just ripped apart and i ended up with more of them. are there any tricks that work?

I've found that grabbing them by thier base with a big pair of fragging tweezers is the best way to do it, but even then they still tend to tear a bit.
