reef octopus-nw200 owners

    im looking for some pics of your sump setup using this skimmer.
    i need to know your sump water level and where you have the water flow tube set at.
    i know it could take awhile to get skimmate.
    im not gonna run vinegar thru in to speed things up.

    Here's a pic of mine.

    You'll want the water level about 2-3" down from where the neck starts. Mine has a sticker that says "reef octopus" on it, i use that as my water line. When using these types of skimmers you really want to have the skimmer in a section of your sump where the water level doesn't change.

    i have the non rc model, its the nw-200.

    Does anyone have a pic similar to this of the reef octopus 100? is it pretty much the same?

    I have the recirculating model of the 100 but I have it externally behind my sump. I can post a pic if you'd like
