I'm sorry, but this is just NOT the case.   If you believe it is, please prove it with examples.

And BTW, even if people want you suggest that you join the club before they help you, what is the big deal?

How much is $20 relative to what you spend on the reefing hobby in a given year?

It costs money for this club operate. This website isn't free and it costs money to have our meeting and events.

Can you not see why people would want to encourage members to join so that the club can continue to operate and pay it's bills?

EXACTLY!! you can use our par meter if you are a member. It cost the club over $1,000.00 to buy those! where the He** do you think that money came from!!

Did you get help with your DIY project? As for the rest of the discussion, start a new thread on the topic and discuss it there. It is not fair to the OP this thread has evolved into what it has become.

ive got way more better things to do than search through threads to prove my point, especially when other members agree with the points ive made...

Whish I had that much free time. Would probably cost you more than 20 in gas.

Travis I dont really understand why you continue to come to the site then if there is nothing here for you.  Seems all you do is find reasons to not like it here.

Because ive met some really cool people here. Honestly i would have joined if things were more friendly. If someone offered me the chance to use something i woulda been more inclined to join but no, people get shot down right out of the gate.

What have you asked to use? I can not control the clubs par-meter, but I know people loan personal equipment out on here all the time to both members and non-members I know i do. We can not offer if we do not know what you need.

I live hours away and don't find it convenient to borrow club equipment, but still found it worthwhile to pay the membership fee (uh...20$ come on). We are a worldwide hobby, the more of us there are, then more of us will succeed.

If its ONLY $20 someone pay my membership fee then. Ill greatly appreciate it and all will be happy.
