Hope someone can help- I have been doing a little reading and it seem I have either baby Cerith Snails or Pyramid snails, I would guess they are Pyramids but not totally sure...  that said is there a need to get them out of my tank?  I have what looks like 100's in my sand bed at night.  Who will eat them if they need to go?
One more thing - they seem to like algae on the glass and seems also the detritus particles in the sand.

Seems everything I read is they kill snails and clams - in the mood for a clam.

I have a clam and have since noticed a bloom in tiny snails - not sure whether they are Pyrams or Ceriths, but I picked up a Radiant Wrasse (recommended by LFS) to help me keep the little snails in check.   The wrasse has gone to town on them - he swims around the tank constantly during the day and every couple of minutes picks off a snail...neat looking fish too!
