I've had enough with these suction cups lol. So does anyone have any idea of how I could take out the suction cups and replace them with magnets. I know the "easiest" way is to just go buy new better power-heads, but that's not realistic right now.

What power heads are they? I know the hydor pumps have a suction cup and magnet combination to connect the pumps. It works pretty good. I don't know if you can find something like that separate from the powerheads though.

If you have an extra magnetic glass cleaner you can superglue the PH to it.

I have been using Sure Grips for almost a year because the suction cups that came with my power heads only held for a few days.  So far the Sure Grips have worked very well.  Heres a link to BRS, but quite a few places sell them online:

This is a good time to bring up something Matt Nelsen mentioned this weekend at the DIY food, apparently a study has come out that says that rubber products in saltwater aquariums should be avoided, because they break down and release toxins into the water. Anyone who has had suction cups rot away knows this. I haven't noticed it on the Hydor Koralia power heads, but heater suction cups seem to deteriorate a lot easier. Some more than others, so I wonder if it is only a certain type of rubber.
