Pm`s????

    What's the deal with the pm's?  can only send pm's to certen people and useualy can't respond to ones sent to me. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this? And remember that I only know basic stuff about computers so please no crazy computer terms lol.

    People who want to get PM's have to go into their settings and uncheck Journal Features from "only friends". This has really caused a problem with PM's. Evidently the last forum software upgrade made that change, and "Only Friends" is the default.

    The weird thing is is that it is already unchecked? But it still seems that I can only respond to friends.

    Personally bill I don't want pms and I don't want to be around anyone with pms. So why would you want to receive and send pms to people

    Personal mesages I know your jokeing somehow but i'm not getting it lol. Oh I get it now PMS lol funny!

    It IS on the other person's end. I don't know how that message is going to get out to everyone though. It makes buying/selling here a problem.

    The simple fix is for everyone to just check their settings and make sure it is set to everyone and not just friends. Maybe a mass email about it to inform everyone.

    Yea it's getting old that's for sure. I think the email idea is a good one.

    The easy way to deal with this is just send the user a friend request. Anyone can do that and once they accept, you can send them as many PM's as you want (and even suggest to them that they switch it to everyone instead of just friends only).

    The default is actually "Everyone" and not friends only so some people may have it set that way because they want it set that way.

    Again, just send them a friend request.
