Please help... tank on the verge of a crash

My rock could use some work, but it's not nearly as cramped as the tank in that link. I have a gigantic 2"+ snail that came with my biocube a few years ago and I have all my rock spaced out enough that he can easily get between the rockwork without getting stuck.

I'm gonna upgrade from my 90 and it's a nice factory stand, tank and canopy. Tank is less than a year old.

Sounds nice, but I think going from 29g to 75g will be a big enough jump for me! I also would like to keep it upstairs and don't want anymore weight on my floors than a 75 would be. Hoping to just keep my current stand and canopy setup, but sell my freshwater 75 gallon tank and replace it with a reef ready 75g with the sump and stuffs.

An interesting note on my experience with this... I always thought mushrooms were nearly bulletproof. In this case it was my mushrooms that were throwing toxins and melting, my zoas closed up, while my duncans, acans, blastos, toadstools, and kenya tree looked unaffected most of the time. In fact my kenya tree has continued growing throughout this.

Well I'm happy to update that over the last month my tank has continued to recover and is finally looking about as good as it did before. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Big thanks to the other members that helped get me through this and who I've picked up some nice frags from to help get it looking all pretty again.

    Thanks!

I can't reply to pm on my phone, so to the person asking, the blenny is a Tailspot Blenny named Minion. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif That's the personality of the tank!

You're welcome! Glad it all worked out for you.. tank looks great..I haven't read thru all the posts, so are you looking for a 75g rr tank?

Thank you, I'm so happy to have it how I want it. Now I just need to sit back and keep my hands out of it!

I was looking for a 75g rr, but I actually found one. I've made all the arrangements, and it'll be coming home with me probably in a month or two. I can't wait to jump into something bigger, but I'm a little scared too! This is the third year I've had the biocube so I think it's time for something new.

Just take your time with the upgrade and you shouldn't have any problems. You've obviously been able to keep the bio cube successfully, the 75 should be even easier.
