OT: Cable/Internet Providers?

    Anyone have recommendations?  I'll be living there for 8 months and just want basic cable & highspeed internet.

    I'd go with Qwest DSL. It's cheaper and IMO more reliable.

    I've had good luck with both Mediacom and ImOn. I currently use ImOn and get great speeds....but their customer service has limited hours. I've had very few outages. You may just want to see who gives you the best price and go with that.

    Cheaper=better!

    qwest told me $39.99/mo +$5/mo modem for internet, and $29.99 for Cable and they would take off $5 for having both. so about $70/mo. I tried calling mediacom but didn't want to wait on hold forever. Anyone know what they charge?

    i got cable box and internet for like $56 a month from media com, i like im on's cable channels better but media com has given me less problems with my xbox

    lee, we use imon communication. We have a ton of stuff so I don't know what it would be for just the basic and internet, but we have never had trouble with them.
