one more ro question

    ok so this ro unit is very close to driving me crazy wasent working so then a few said maybe low press... so checked it out and moved it and realized that was the prob..then after the move the place where the unit was hooked to the water pipe would not stop leaking...then ended up making a gasket with a pc of rubber...then it starts working and bam the hose that goes to the piercing saddle valve wont stay in i got a quick shower [​IMG]....so its a meatal valve it has the main part and a nut then there is the hose and a little funnal shaped plastic pc thats little....what the heck should i do now and if i fix every prob then maybe some day it will work maybe[​IMG]

    Thats why I HATE saddle valves. Piercing a perfectly good copper line is just asking for a leak. I use a "T" off my washing machine hook-up and have my RO unit mounted right above the washer. Not only is the water source close there is a drain there as well. IMO saddle valves should only be used as a last resort.

    they give u a cheap saddle valve with them kits is why it leaks i sale Ros and use only good saddle valves if you want a good saddle valve i can give ya one for free I'm in davenport did you hook it to 1/2 pipe or 3/4 pipe i have a 300 gpd ro and use a permeate pump to increase my pressure and it helps cut down on the wast water send me a pm if ya need help or any ro parts i got any thing for a ro thay make thanks
