Omaha Zoo/ Scott Aquarium

    Has any one been to the aquarium since the renovation? My sister and nephew and coming up for a week at the beginning of June. Plans were being thrown around to go to the Chicago zoo, but I am trying to convince everyone to go to Omaha instead. The drive would be nearly the same, but from what I have seen Omaha is a much better zoo. The last time I was at the Omaha zoo was shortly after the Lied jungle was opened, so its been a few years LOL. Would really like to see all the new additions and especially the aquarium.
    Lets hear some feedback so I can make more of an argument for Omaha.

    I've been to the aquarium a few times since the renovation, definitely worth the trip!

    They made it much nicer than it was originally. They added a couple new exhibits too!

    Its a toss up Omaha has much better indoor exhibits the aquarium is awesome much better then the shedd aquarium but the brookfield zoo is great too it has better outside exhibits and I love how they don't have as much glass separating you from the animals so its a lot more interactive in fact in the packaderm house they actually have a pee zone where you can get so close to the rinos and elephants that they can pee on you if your not careful
