no power again

6 hours and counting. Lost power this winter for 20 hours and half my corals died I need to just spend the 3 grand and buy a big generator. this sucks

 

For $350 bucks Orielly's stocks a generator that I have run my tanks, fridge and entertainment center on.

 

You can get a decent inverter and run it off your car battery or a marine battery for about $149 or so.....

 

My tank is pretty big over 600 gal system it would take a 2000 watt geny for just the pumps. And if I'm going to buy one I'm going to get a good one a 10000 watt Honda

 

And I can't leave both ends of my street are blocked by down trees and power lines. This sucks. I'm going to have to ride my bicycle to work this afternoon

 

You're a gambler that's for sure. The winter outage should have "spoke" to you.

Hope you get it up and running soon. It sucks when this sort of thing happens. The week long black out a few years back sucked big time now I have 3 generaters at my disposeal.

 

Seriously?

 

A 10,000 watt Honda powered generator is $2700 plus tax. I could buy a cheap genaric one for $1500 but it only comes with a 90 day warenty a Honda comes with a 5 year warenty and my dads 5000 watt HondA is over ten years old and still running perfectly

I don't really think it was that screwed up at all and will gladly re-post it if you like.  I could have said far worse.  I guess I just don't take to kindly to OVER OPIONATED christians out to dictate what people can or cannot say on Reef Keeping discussion board.

To try and get things back on topic, I would love to have one of those natural gas generators.  They are like $3000 and up and kick on instantly when the electricity goes out.  I actually thought about getting one a few years ago when we were getting those crazy ice storms.  The 3k seemed like a small price to pay to be warm in the middle of winter.

Then why did you erace it? For me to have a opion at all is is somehow over opionated to you. I didn't say he couldn't say it I just said I as well as others ( wether they want to speak up or not ) don't care for it.  Now make another coment so you can have the last word LOL. I would thank god that my power is back on but I might be offending someone so I will thank alla since the government says you can't criticize anyone who Worships alla even if they threaten to blow you up LoL
