Hey Guys, wanted to put a bug in everyones ears... Easpecially those in Des Moines.

Today I tested my Nitrates and they are significantly higher than the last time I test! I noticed some issues with my corals and tested outside my regular routine. Today Des Moines announced that it is having issues with Nitrates in its water. I tested my RO/DI water and it is usually less than 5 and today it was more than 50. My filters all have to be replaced way ahead of my regular schedule. This spring has been hard on them.

Just an FYI for those in the area.

Yup, every early spring i try to make additional water because of the excess nitrates in the Des Moines water. Spring=runoff from all the newly sprayed fields ect.

Ya, I have been out of town on and off for nearly three weeks and the compounded issue I came back to, is a disaster.
